What is Brown’s Orchard and Cider?
Brown’s Orchard grows and sells over 23 varieties of apples starting in the late summer of each year into March of the following year. They also sell pressed cider that is produced on site along with Applesauce, Apple Butter and soon to come, Jams and Jellies from Momma Brown’s prized family recipes.
Can I pick my own apples at Brown’s?
NO, The orchard was originally developed as a commercial operation and is not set-up for pick your own apples at this time.
Can I volunteer here?
Yes please send an email to brownsorchardandcider@gmail,com if you are interested in volunteering. We often need extra hands in the spring and fall for orchard maintenance and harvest.
Can I bring a picnic and enjoy the farm?
We do have space for your to enjoy a picnic lunch outside of the Farm Stand area.
Are your locations handicapped accessible?
Yes. Though we do not have facilities designed specifically for the handicapped, we welcome many handicapped guests. We do anything we can to help accommodate you navigate our locations The gravel on our pathways present some mobility issues.
Is it OK if I bring my dog in?
Yes, you can bring your well behaved and friendly leashed dog to the farm.
Do you take credit cards?
Cash Only at this time.
How do I find out more about the apples you have available?
Check out our apple page and download the apple information sheet that shows apple harvest by season and check out our Facebook and Instagram pages. We will post apples there as well.
Is anything added to your fresh pressed cider?
NO, we only bottle the juice from our apples pressed fresh onsite. We have gallon and half-gallon jugs and we do freeze to preserve freshness. Shipping may also be an option so check our our Online Ordering page for availability and pricing.
