We’re open for the season…and there’s Cider!

DECEMBER 7 – Sales have continued to be brisk since Thanksgiving. Here are the varieties that we still have in the market: Honey Crisp(very limited quantity) PINK LADY, GOLD RUSH, GOLDEN DELICIOUS, NITTANY, CRIMSON CRISP, JONAGOLD, MUTSU, and STAYMEN WINESAP. We still have fresh cider.  Just a reminder that our last day of the season is SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18.

OUR BEST WISHES FOR A BOUNTIFUL, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We will be closed for the day so we can celebrate and relax with our families. We’ll be opened once again on Friday, November 25 as per our regular hours, 10a.m. Til 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Sunday, closed Monday’s.

OUR LAST DAY OF THE 2016 season will be

Sunday, December 18. We aim to have cider as close to close as we can. 

Apple Update- We have just run out of Fuji, Empire and McIntosh. 

NOVEMBER 5 APPLE UPDATE – Granny Smith, Gold Rush, Pink Lady and Fuji are now available in the market in addition to the lists below. Cortland and Jonathan are done for this season. And of course, we still have fresh cider.

OCTOBER 22 APPLE UPDATE – The following varieties are now available in addition to the list below:  Nittany, Melrose, Mutsu, Stayman/Winesap, Northern Spy, Ida Red, Rome and York.  We have limited quantities of some of these varieties.

OCTOBER 12 APPLE UPDATE – Somehow Red Delicious was left off the list for the weekend – they are available.  So right now you’ll find Golden and Red Delicious, Macoun, Honey Crisp, Crimson Crisp, Cortland, Gala, McIntosh, Empire, Jonagold, Fuji, Jonathan.  The following are done – Jonamac, Zestar and Golden Supreme.

OCTOBER 8 APPLE UPDATE – Apple pie anyone? In addition to Golden Delicious, Empire, Jonagold and Macouns (a wonderful eating apple related to the Honey Crisp) are in the Market this weekend.  Could the Crimson Crisp be the “new” Honey Crisp??  It’s turning into a runaway favorite of  customers who are introduced to it.  Come in and see what all the fuss is about! Early Fuji and Ginger Gold are finished for the season.

A little note for all the Honey Crisp fans….we still have a good supply, but demand has been very strong, so there’s a possibility we may run out before we close for the season.  Watch this space and we’ll let you know their status in the coming weeks…

APPLE UPDATE – October 5 – Golden Delicious are in the market!  And we’ve got a wonderful eating apple, Crimson Crisp.  If you like a hard sweet/tart eating apple, this could become your new favorite!

It was a busy weekend during the Apple Festival. Early Fuji, Jonamac, Cortland, Ginger Gold and Jonathan, Golden Supreme are nearly all gone….Still a good supply of Honey Crisp, Autumn Crisp, Zestar! Gala, McIntosh, Crimson Crisp. We expect the Empire, Red Delicious Macoun and Jonagold to be ready by the weekend. Watch this space.

Apple update – September 21- Rambo are done but we’ve now got Autumn Crisp (similar to Honey Crisp but a wee bit more tart), Early Fuji, Jonamac, and Cortland as well as those varieties below. Cider is available in half and full gallons. So come on in and see us and get baking, crunching and sipping! And yes, we’ll be opened Apple Festival weekend (Oct 1 and 2) our regular weekend hours, 10-5.

More Apple Varieties added…MCINTOSH and a limited supply of Autumn Crisp in addition to HONEYCRISP, GINGER GOLD, GALA, JONATHAN, ZESTAR!, GOLDEN SUPREME and RAMBO. And Cider is available while supplies last.

      Sorry, Adina, we’re not equipped to offer that service. But we have plenty of apples ready picked.
